Galipán
A mountain village on El Ávila, above Caracas: flowers, strawberries and views over the valley and the Caribbean Sea.
Galipán is a farming village on the slopes of Waraira Repano, the mountain that separates Caracas from the sea. At about 1,800 metres above sea level, it is known for its flower and strawberry farms, mountain inns and restaurants, and its cool climate.
It is reached by the Warairarepano cable car from Caracas and then by 4×4 along the mountain. From the top you can see the whole Caracas valley on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other: the closest outing to the venue.
